YAY!

annapolis Photographer .  .  . There is just no better way to put it!  I am thrilled to FINALLY announce some very exciting news and can’t wait to “share this news in person” with everyone on Sunday.  For the past few weeks, we have been working hard moving everything out of (many rooms in) my home and into our new STUDIO in downtown Annapolis!  YAAAAAY!  I don’t have photos yet, but promise to post some as soon as all of our work is completed.  I feel like I searched forever for the perfect space – a place to better serve our clients, and meet with them before or after sessions, a place where all of our packaging and shipping would happen, a place to display my work, and lastly, a place that would truly allow me to separate work and home.  I didn’t dream that my business would grow as quickly as it has; I am so grateful for the support of my family, friends, and clients that have been the reason for that growth.  Our new space will enable Laura, Nikki and Belle to “do what they do” behind the scenes, and will also be a place where I will do some shooting.  The sessions that I’ve had in the studio so far have been a LOT of fun, especially when we watched it rain outside and DIDN’T have to re-schedule (to my fall 2009 clients this will be particularly close-to-home :)

I will share many more details, photos, etc. but wanted to quickly share my news and MOST importantly invite you to our

STUDIO OPEN HOUSE

SUNDAY, APRIL 11th 2 – 5 PM

175 WEST STREET, ANNAPOLIS

I have great neighbors – Lemongrass & Latin Quarter on one side, and Hudson & Fouquet on the other!  And Latin Quarter is celebrating THEIR opening on Sunday as well – from 1 – 8 with salsa dancing beginning at 5!

Here’s a shot from a recent studio session (how cute is she), and another of our sunroom, just because our family is thrilled to have reclaimed this space :-)   I almost forgot what it looked like free of cardboard boxes, paper, ribbon, etc.  Things have been very busy, but next week I’ll also share some images from my recent trip to St. Simons Island, GA (I mean, paradise) – I had a ball there and met and photographed many wonderful people!
