. . . “well they didn’t have anything that cool back when my baby was young” (insert ridiculous sounding voice and follow with a story about walking to school 8 miles in the snow…)  Ok, so not really.  But seriously, for those of you with older children, how much would you have LOOOOOOVED to have had a bag like this?  It’s a bag, and then a blanket, and then a bag again.  This wee girl didn’t have a care in the world sitting in tall grass because she had her cozy little blanket to play on!  I first saw the chic & cozy bag at Target, and at first thought it was just a cool bag (which happened to be in two of my favorite colors and THEN I realized that in 3.7 seconds, it converts into a great blanket for baby!  In addition to the chic & cozy bag, www.chictots.com offers LOTS of other great products for busy moms looking for cool stuff, so check them out!  And seriously, how cute are those little feet!

. . . I couldn’t have asked for a better evening to photograph these beautiful expectant parents!  Somehow, we dodged many nights of rain and managed to squeeze their session in on a spectacular day!  I love love love shooting at this time of the day/evening – the light is golden and gentle – add a nice breeze and it’s summertime perfection.  I’m glad we were able to get this session in when we did because their baby boy was born THREE days later!  Early bird!  I spent the morning with him today, and can’t wait to share more pictures of the entire family.

Could we have been more lucky with this back-drop?  Anyone remember “cue the deer” from Chevy Chase’s funny farm?  I digress…
